Meet Dr. Maxime Moise

Dr. Moise brings decades of experience in obstetrics and gynecology and has cared for patients in Lewes since 1998.

He speaks English, Spanish, French, and Haitian Creole. Patients can discuss their care directly with him in these languages.

Yearly Visits: More Than a Pap Smear

Not due for a Pap smear? Your yearly gynecology visit still matters. A yearly visit provides time to review your health, discuss changes or concerns, and plan preventive care, even when cervical cancer screening is not due.

Pap testing follows its own schedule. A Pap test or pelvic examination is not automatically needed at every visit; Dr. Moise will discuss what is appropriate for your history and needs. Learn about yearly wellness visits.

Menopause Care and HRT

Your symptoms deserve attention, and your treatment options deserve a conversation. Dr. Moise provides menopause care, including hormone replacement therapy (HRT) when medically appropriate.

Additional Gynecology Services

Birth control: Counseling, IUD and Nexplanon insertions and removals, and Depo-Provera injections.
Symptoms and STI testing: Evaluation of menstrual changes, pelvic discomfort, vaginal symptoms, and other concerns; in-office specimen collection for outside laboratory testing.
Breast health: Clinical examinations when appropriate and mammogram orders for outside imaging facilities.
In-office procedures: Colposcopies, cervical and other gynecologic biopsies, cryotherapy, and external genital skin tag removal when appropriate.
Fertility counseling: Initial evaluation, outside laboratory orders when indicated, and referrals for semen analysis or specialist fertility care.
